Hunter secures fifth Masters title
JOHN Hunter has clinched his fifth Cuestars Masters Tour title.
Fresh from his success in the Next Chapter Financial Planning English Over-55 Championship, the 59-year-old from Andover completed his nap hand in Newbury.
Hunter defeated Mark Evans (Bagshot) 2-0 in the final of the tenth and last leg at The Crucible Sports & Social Club, Newbury.
It means he has won six of the nine events he has entered during this campaign on the Snooker Hub-sponsored midweek circuit for players aged 55 and over.
Karl Townsend (Northolt) finished the season as runner-up. David Moritz (Pinner) is third.
