Toby and Joseph win first Cuestars trophies

THERE were first Cuestars trophies for Toby Phillips and Joseph Hughes at Salisbury Snooker Club.

The Chandlers Ford clubmates met in the Plate final during the fifth legs of the Under-21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours.

Phillips, who is in eighth place on the Bronze Tour, beat Hughes, who is 15th, 2-0 to collect the winner’s trophy in the competition for those players who didn’t qualify for the main knockouts.

Chandlers Ford Snooker Club hosts the Silver and Bronze sixth legs of ten on Sunday, January 25. Waterlooville Sports Bar will host the Gold event.
