Group positions explained

CUESTARS organisers would like to clarify how the round-robin group positions are calculated.

The first criteria is the number of matches won.
If two or more players win the same number of matches, positions are then decided by frame difference, ie, the number of frames won minus the number of frames lost. It is not decided just by the number of frames won.
If the number of matches won and the frame differences are the same, positions are decided by the results between the tied players, ie, a 2-0 win is better than a 2-1 win.
If all of the above are equal, the tournament director will chose a play-off method.
However, it should be noted that the tournament organiser’s decision is final.
