£1,750 prize fund announced for satellite rankings

CUESTARS can today reveal the massive prize fund on offer to the top three in the satellite rankings.

Our top players are competing for a share of £1,750!

WHAT IS THE SATELLITE RANKINGS?

The Cuestars Satellite Rankings will record all prize money won by its members in regional, national and international snooker events in the year from May 3, 2020, to the completion of the 2022 world championship.

Qualifying events include: Cuestars, EPSB, World Snooker Tour, Pro-Ams, World Seniors Tour, World Women’s Tour, IBSF, WSF, WEBSF, WDBS, WPBSA and Cues of Tomorrow.

But these are just examples. Only in-house competitions are excluded.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

You must be a Cuestars member at the time of winning the prize money for it to be added to the Cuestars Satellite Rankings. That means, for example, a player joining in September could not include anything won from May to August.

HOW DO I TELL CUESTARS ABOUT PRIZE MONEY I’VE WON?

Send your results, which must include the amount and the name of the competition, by email to [email protected] or through the contact form on the Cuestars website, www.cuestars.co.uk/contact-us.

WHEN WILL THE PRIZE MONEY BE PAID OUT?

Monies will be paid out after the World Championship in May, 2022. Winner receives £1,000, runner-up £500 and third £250.
