Hunter signs off unbeaten

JOHN Hunter, who is based at Salisbury Snooker Club but lives in Andover, wrapped up his fifth Cuestars South Wilts Snooker League championship with an unblemished record.

The 45-year-old Cuestars founder’s 4-1 victory over Salisbury teenager James Bolton was his tenth straight win since the start of the season.
And he has dropped just eight frames out of 50.
Hunter’s 80 break against Steve Ashton in February proved to be the highest in the 2010/11 campaign.
Elsewhere, only 12 points separated runner-up Trevor Pittman (Salisbury) and anchor man Alex Thorn (Shrewton)
