O’Shay claims Autumn Half-Term Cup

THE ever-present O’Shay Scott (pictured) held off the threat of the ever-present Joe Hampson to claim the 2017 Autumn Half-Term Cup at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club.

Eight-year-old Cuestars Bronze Tour player O’Shay ended the five days of activities top of the rankings to clinch his fourth school holiday competition title.

For ten-year-old runner-up Joe, it’s a first ever snooker trophy.

Ryan Hughes knocked in the final day’s highest break of 41.

Riccardo Drayton passed Level 5 of the Cuestars Coaching Programme on the first day.

The fifth Autumn Cup was well run by 16-year-old EASB qualified referee Steven Hughes.

The next school holiday competition is the Christmas Cup, which will be run by World Snooker coach Tim Dunkley.
