Castle: It’s the one I want

SOUTHAMPTON’S former Town Champion Billy Castle (pictured) is through to the last-16 south of the English Amateur Championship.

The 22-year-old accounted for Londoners Wayne Townsend, 4-3, and Andrew Scott, 4-1, in the South East and London regional qualifier at Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon.

“It’s the one I want to win,” said Castle, who was guest of honour at the Cuestars Finals Day last season.

The next stage is at The Crucible Sports & Social Club, Newbury, in April.
