Seniors Championship preview

DETAILS have been released about the end-of-season Seniors Championship.

The top-20 ranked players on the Cuestars South of England Seniors (40+) Tour have been invited to The Crucible Sports & Social Club, Newbury, on Sunday, April 29.

Thanks to sponsors I AM Promotions and Hammant’s Cues, there is a £460 prize fund (subject to 20 entries) to play for on the day.

As usual, the entry fee is £15 and the draw will take place at 10.30am. The top two from each of the four round-robin groups will qualify for the knockout. Group matches are best-of-three but it will be best-of-fives in the knockout.

Players not qualifying from the groups can enter a plate competition.

The top-eight ranked players are seeded.
