Jamie Wilson wins Bournemouth exhibition

WORLD Snooker Tour professional Jamie Wilson won the four-man exhibition tournament at the Bournemouth and District Constitutional Club.

The event was arranged to say a massive ‘thank you’ to the club for a £1,000 donation to Cuestars.

Also taking part were the 2019/20 Gold Tour rankings winner Bradley Cowdroy; Connor Benzey, who won the 2019 European Under-17 Snooker Open in Malta; and the 2019/20 Bronze Tour rankings winner Harry Wyatt, who was drafted in as a late replacement for Oliver Sykes who was in Leeds that day preparing for two national junior finals.

Eleven breaks of 50 or more were recorded during the top-quality evening. Wilson chalked up the highest of 120 against Cowdroy.
