FAREHAM Snooker Club will sponsor a junior tournament next season as part of its 30th birthday celebrations. And joint owner Serena Sinanan has signed up two of her suppliers to support two other events.
Opened in 1987 and run by Serena and her brother Miki, the Broadcut club will host and sponsor the seventh legs of the Cuestars South of England Under-21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours on February 26, 2017. Serena said: “I’m delighted to support such an event to help promote snooker and to encourage youngsters to take up the sport.” Leeds-based Dransfields – the UK’s largest independent supplier of gaming and amusement machines to pubs and clubs – will sponsor the second leg of the Cuestars Seniors (40+) Tour on October 23 this year.
And Fuller’s – a family-run London brewery established in 1845 – will back the fifth leg of the Cuestars Championship Tour on January 15.Serena welcomes existing and new members, young and old, to watch all three events at Fareham SC, which is fully air-conditioned and boasts 12 snooker tables.
