Crump collects trophy on his debut

CUESTARS newcomer Ben Crump (pictured) has collected a trophy at his first attempt.

The 14-year-old from Stoke Snooker Club, Gosport, won the Plate competition at Woking Snooker Centre.

Crump defeated home player Dan Parks in the one-frame final of the consolation tournament for players not qualifying for the knockout at the fourth legs of the Cuestars South of England Under-21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours.
