Joe secures Plate with 31 break

SILVER Tour player Joe Kitchen compiled a 31 break in winning the Under-21 Plate final in Swindon against Jonny Mutch.

The 14-year-old from Gosport had finished third in his round-robin group while Mutch, who travels down from Cambridge, had failed to qualify from his Gold Tour group that included the eventual tournament winner Anthony Rice.
