Caden Read wins Autumn Cup

CADEN Read (pictured) has secured his fourth school-holiday title at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club.

The 12-year-old Cuestars Silver Tour player finished top of the rankings after the five-day Autumn Half-Term Cup.

Seven wins out of eight in the final day’s snooker round-robin gave defending champion Dylan Beer the runner-up spot. Tyler Beer was third.

Four players passed their respective levels of the Cuestars Academy on the opening day.

Chandlers Ford SC runs junior competitions from 11am-3pm at a daily cost of £7.50 on every weekday during every school holiday – and has done so for ten years.
