Plate specialist Walter does it again

SILVER Tour player Daniel Walter is fast becoming a Plate specialist.

He won the competition for non-qualifiers during the third legs of the Cuestars Under-21 Gold, Silver and Bronze Tours at Chandlers Ford Snooker Club.

Portsmouth-based Walter, who beat Gold player Riccardo Drayton (Eastleigh) in the final, won the Plate at Waterlooville Sports Bar in the last leg last season and at Salisbury Snooker Club in the opening event of the current campaign. That’s three out of four!

A total of 22 breaks of 50 or more were recorded by the massive 48-strong field during the four competitions sponsored by Chandlers Ford Snooker Club and Simon Cocks Catering.
