Plummer takes Gold lead

CUESPORTS all-rounder Evan Plummer is a step closer to claiming his first Cuestars snooker title in his last season on the junior circuit.

The 20-year-old from Coulsdon moved to the top of the Under-21 Gold Tour rankings after winning his second final of the 2023/24 campaign.

Plummer collected £100 in prize money following a 2-0 victory over first-time finalist Riley Ellis (north Wilts).

The 2022 World 8-Ball Pool under-20 champion defeated Ryan Spratt (Botley) 2-0 in the last-four. Spratt climbed to fourth place after his first semi-final in his debut season in the third tier.

In the second semi, Ellis knocked out Zain Jeraj (Tooting) 2-0.

Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon, hosts the sixth leg of ten on Sunday, January 28.
